South African gay singer, Koyo Bala, dies of anal cancer

After a three-year battle with anal cancer‚ South African gay musician Koyo Bala, died around 9am on Monday at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town.

The 36-year-old,was a member of the defunct music group 3sum.In 2011‚ Bala disclosed that he was HIV-positive to the country‚ a decision he in 2014 told Sunday Times had "cost him work". In 2014 he was diagnosed with anal cancer and decided to move back home last year where he started chemotherapy. 

His last tweet about his illness was on February reads:

 "I pray 2 God everyday 2 help me pass this cancer #itshard #pains #wontgiveup #canwinthisbattle #cantsleepofpains".

50 Cent tells court he's really broke & money he flaunts on instagram is fake

After realizing he may lose his bankruptcy case following his incessant posing with money on instagram,50 cent has defended himself, claiming the money was all fake and just props to maintain his brand ..In an affidavit filed in federal bankruptcy court Tuesday, he said he’s just trying to keep up appearances.In his affidavit, he said the bucks were  prop cash used for either music videos or his hit TV show “Power” and that he was just joking around.
As a hip-hop artist and entertainer, it is imperative that I continue to project aspirational goals of success
 in order to preserve my brand and those I represent,
“My social media posts are a vehicle to perpetuate the demand for my music and entertainment services.

“Just because I am sensitive to the needs of maintaining my brand does not mean that I am hiding assets or that I have lied on my filings in the bankruptcy case, neither of which is true. I take my responsibilities and obligations imposed by the bankruptcy code very seriously and have truthfully responded to questions from creditors,” A “continuing and consistent presence in social media is an integral part of my future business operations,” .he said, adding that he plans to keep on posting
online.
But those he owes millions of dollars to haven’t been amused by the Instagram posts, and he’s due to answer questions about them before a federal bankruptcy judge in Connecticut on Wednesday.
The U.S. trustee’s office is also asking the judge, Ann Nevins, to appoint an examiner to review his assets.

Kim Kardashian Sued by California Driver Over 2014 Collision

Kim Kardashian West is being sued by Rafael Linares, a California driver who claims the reality star "negligently" hit his car in 2014. 

Two years after the accident, Linares has brought a personal injury lawsuit against Kardashian, 35, claiming in the documents obtained by PEOPLE that he "sustained personal injuries which caused and will continue to cause pain, discomfort and physical disability." 

The accident occurred in Beverly Hills at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Benedict Canyon Drive. 

Linares also says he's been "deprived of earnings" as a result of the accident and is suing for past and future medical expenses, loss of income and property damage.

Oprah Winfrey loses $24 million in one day

Oprah Winfrey  has lost $24 million thanks to Weight Watchers.Last year,she bought a 10 percent stake in the weight loss company for $43.2 million, joined the company's board of directors, became a spokesmodel for the brand and began its diet plan.

According to Reuters,on Thursday, the company reported a 21 percent drop in fourth-quarter net revenue, which sent its shares down more than 27 percent in extended trading. As a result, Winfrey's stake plunged by about $24 million.. However, she has still gained almost $75 million since she made her investment, the news wire added.

On the day Winfrey first invested in Weight Watchers, its shares doubled in value, while she made $70 million in just a day and also single-handedly generated $700 million in stock market value in two days, Forbes had reported.

In January, after she tweeted a video saying she lost 26 pounds on the diet program while still eating bread every day, company stocks rallied more than 16 percent and she made $12 million.
