According to TMZ, Wayne was flying from Milwaukee to California when the first seizure happened. Wayne reportedly blacked out as the pilot performed the emergency landing in Omaha, Nebraska.
Paramedics met the plane when it landed but the rapper, who regained consciousness, allegedly refused medical treatment. Shortly after taking off again, Wayne suffered another seizure and the plane was forced to make another emergency landing, according to TMZ.
Omaha police were unable to confirm the report and reps for the rapper have not responded to requests for comment.
According to Billboard, the musician's rep said that Wayne is now stable and in "good spirits," following the episode.
Wayne is epileptic and has had multiple seizures throughout his life. He previously blamed the attacks on his rigorous work schedule.
"I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures," Wayne, 33, told Los Angeles radio station Power 106 after a particularly severe attack back in 2013. ""This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about it. It got real bad because I got three [seizures] in a row, and on the third one my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent," he said. "Basically, I could've died soon. That's why it was so serious."
