Taylor Swift receives a giant bronze middle finger award to silence haters

The annual UK NME music awards on Wednesday, 17th of February, 2016 honoured Taylor Swift with the Best International Solo Artist Award and this time, it was not golden globes or gramophones but a giant bronze middle finger portraying the perfect symbol for silencing haters. 

She was however not present at the event but she posted an acceptance video saying;

"I gotta be honest with you about this: When you first open up the box, this feels a little aggressive. Then you get used to it, put it on the shelf like, you know what, I kind of like it. Its kind of like LOL. First impressions were a little weird here but now I understand that this is actually like a strange compliment".
